Constipation is not what most people think it is.

The Kalimera formula has two origins.
The first is archaeological. In the early years of Eastwood Bio-Medical's seven-year partnership with Tsinghua University — the only private-company collaboration in Tsinghua's history — researchers gained access to a Han Dynasty Emperor's tomb shortly after its discovery. Among the burial materials was a sealed Imperial medical prescription. The active ingredient was celery. The formula had been used at the Imperial Court as a parasite expellent.
The second is metabolic. The University of Calgary developed a metabolic normalization technology known as P700 over seventeen years of work funded in part by the Canadian government. Eastwood acquired the underlying technology and brought it to market through a further period of clinical and regulatory work. P700 became the basis of Eleotin's blood-glucose work. The combination of the Han Dynasty preparation and P700 produced Kalimera.
Health Canada approval followed. Approvals in seven other jurisdictions followed. The product has been in continuous market since.
A separate observation from Eastwood's Hotan Dorpan field research is worth noting. The Uyghur longevity village has a population where centenarians remain physically active and where hypertension and hyperlipidemia are unusually rare. Local researchers attribute this in part to the magnesium content of the drinking water. Magnesium also relieves constipation by limiting excessive water reabsorption in the intestines.
